4 fat quarters for stripes
3/4 yard background fabric
1-1/2 yards for backing
3/8 yd for binding
1-1/3 yards backing fabric
QUILT BATTING
thread for piecing
thread for quilting

TOOLS
Rotary Cutter with a new blade
24" Ruler - your own or you can use ours
Sewing machine - your own or you can rent one of ours ($5.00 / day)
even feed foot for your machine, if available

PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS
Preshrink your fabric -
Simplest way to preshrink fat quarters -
Wet each fat quarter in the sink or lavatory.
Using a dry towel, press out the excess moisture.
Open each fat quarter and hang over a towel rack or plastic hanger to dry. Or you can toss in the dryer!
Dry until just damp! Don't dry bone dry.

Press your fabric -
Using a hot iron, press until dry and wrinkles are removed. Don't stretch!

You must pre-register for classes. The class fee is to be paid at the time of registration. You can sign up online with a credit card, call with your credit card info, or stop by the shop.

Enrollment must be at least 48 hours prior to the start of the class unless otherwise stated. If you are unable to attend, the class fee will be refunded when you give 48 hours notice. If a class minimum is not reached 48 hours before the first class, registrants will be notified of cancellation and class fee will be refunded.

ALL class supplies must be purchased at Gardensong Fabrics. Please make sure your machine is in good working order prior to class. If you do not have a sewing machine available, you may rent one of ours for a nominal fee.

Out of consideration to your fellow students and the instructor, NO children should be brought to class. Also, please mute your cell phone while in class. We appreciate your cooperation with our policies.
