Kathy McGee of Hemma Design in St. Paul, Minnesota, is one of Red Rooster's talented new designers. Her company name, Hemma, means "home" in Swedish. Scandinavian design and her Minnesota roots inspired summerhome, her first collection for Red Rooster. The summerhome prints are fresh, bold, graphic designs that are infused with bright and cheerful yellows, oranges, reds, and greens. They represent the riot of color in the garden and the clear, northern sunlight. The main prints are the large, eye-catching sunflower on bright yellow, the warm, multi-colored flowers, and the orange and green leafy vines. Coordinates include a circle print, a geometric, a small leaf print, and a nifty little check.
